We have designed our webpage with you in
mind. We hope you will use our page to learn more about the Jackson area. We have
provided a page about Jackson that includes real estate
related news, an Arts and Cultural Events CALENDAR, and housing development
news.
If you have ideas
about what we need to add, please let us know. Or if we
can supply you additional information about specific areas in
the metro area, we will be happy to do so.

Communities . . . . .
WHAT DO MOST RESIDENTS LIKE
ABOUT THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD?
we have conversed with hundreds
of Jackson area residents and here are some of the comments we
hear most often about local communities.
BRANDON--Historic
neighborhoods, churches and downtown. Variety of new
home neighborhoods in varied prices and sizes. Good schools, high school football
reigns supreme and folks here are proud of faith-based
connections.
CLINTON--Wonderful
schools from pre-school to graduating college, Mississippi
College art and music, Wyatt Waters home, small connected
neighborhoods, small town atmosphere.
RESERVOIR--Lots of outdoor activities
such as fishing, boating, walking trails, affordable
waterfront property and very elite waterfront on the
Northshore. Close to shopping at North Park and Flowood.
RIDGELAND--Close to everything, focused
government, lots of shopping along County Line Road and small
shops close to Natchez Trace. Good Schools, wonderful
small neighborhoods. Growing the right way.
MADISON--"Mayor Mary Hawkins-Butler rocks,"
small town ambience, affluent neighborhoods, growing small
downtown, gift and antique shop heaven. Proud of their
well designed buildings and neighborhoods.
FONDREN--A happening place, close to
downtown Jackson, funky shops, helping Jackson define mixed
use adaptive buildings, affordable cottages and mansions (But
you had better hurry). Arts, music, and more.
BELHAVEN--Always
defines the ultimate in good taste, excellent quality, well
designed homes but folks like the mix of housing styles,
income levels and ages. Jackson's most recent Main
Street and working hard to rebuild their Fortification St.
commercial corridor.
PEARL--Middle
America with flourish. Home of the recently acquired
Mississippi Braves, Bass Pro Shop and ready for a new image.
Affordable and cozy neighborhoods, good high school football
team.
