French & Indian War Pipe Tomahawk

This pipe tomahawk has a hand forged blade with the pipe bowl forged from an old muzzle loading rifle. The blade measures 7 inches in length with a 22 1/2 inch ash haft. The top cap and base cap are both pewter, cast in a chevron design. The top cap has an attached silver cross.

The entire haft has a band of pewter, encircling it in a Snake design. In addition, the haft is hot file branded and tack decorated with antique age and color.

This is a museum quality full smokable pipe tomahawk and has the the age, color, and patina of a 250 year old original. These were used by early frontier fighters and mountain men with their Kentucky rifle as in the movie the Patriot.
